Fri 24th February Cabinteely v UCD AFC, Stradbrook, Blackrock RFC, ko 19:45
After Director of Football Pat Devlin left UCD during close season to take over as Director of Football and First team manager at Cabo he eventually brought with him Jason Byrne, Kieran Marty Waters, Jack Watson, Adam Harney. UCD reduced to a Student team for 2017 and every match will be a challenge, it's a busy build-up with CUFL, Harding Cup, Leinster Se nior Cup and this weeks Collingwood Cup defeat in the final. Three games already this week and now for the South Dublin Derby. |

Georgie Kelly, scored a hat-trick away to Athlone Town last Sat 07th Oct. in a 04- win for The Students.
His first equaled Willie Doyle (First Div 2004) and Ciarán "Killer" Kilduff (Prem Div 2010) with 15 league for a season. His next broke the record and his last extended UCD AFC highest goalscorer for a season to 17. Congrats Georgie and the whole team were working for that record. #COYBIB |

Pre-Season Friendly: Friday 19th January, Bray Wanderers v UCD AFC, Carlisle Grounds ko 19:45
The Students' first team travel to The Carlisle Grounds for the first time since getting relegated at the end of 2014. In the meantime, knocking Bray out of the cup 4:3 in incredible game at UCD Bowl in 2016 was a paticular hight for UCD Fans. The Seagulls should have ex-UCD Hughie Douglas, Conor Kenna and Paul O'Conor as part of the squad. #UCDFANS

I would have hoped for a hard fought 2-2 draw bu MATCH OFF. Intermediate Cup 4th RD UCD (LSL) v Skerries Town is OFF due to waterlogged pitch at Thornfield Rugby on Belfield Campus. Re-Fixture TBC @Butch Sorry I just looked at the timing of your post and see your question was sitting here for quite some time, I was online and didn't notice. I even posted in the Intermediate section on the cup but didn't reply to you here until now, sorry about that.

For the Belfield game a pitch inspection for Sunday morning was announced yesterday. It was a game between two LSL teams, so morning inspection would be reasonable. The four other games that were called off were teams between with different Leagues, so a decision may have been expected earlier than Sunday morning. However in The Herald Striker 2 weeks ago the pitch was described as "the soft Belfield turf" by Niall Feery.
