Republic of Ireland left-back Greg Cunningham has signed a new four-year deal with Manchester City. The 19-year-old Galway-born defender, who made his Ireland debut in May and played for 30 minutes against Argentina last week, has impressed Roberto Mancini since his arrival last season. |

why would you prefer 45 to 22? Balotelli being a tit.
best we could hope for is Cunningham getting a string of cup appearances this season, unless city have an injury crisis at left back.

gas, they take his number but give him new deal. And now apparently they'll give Given an improved 5 year deal to keep him at City until he is 39 to make up for the disapointment of been relegated behind Hart. Seperate incidents because they no doubt were looking to give Cunningham a deal anyway. But the given rumour is an insult and just f**ked up

i wouldn't see a pay increase as an insult.
hart looks to be city's goalkeeper for the present and future. but, if he were to get injured, they want someone of given's calibre to take his place. it's trying to make him accept being a number two, and also indirectly reminding him of his impending retirement, which in turn will make him think of the cash.
personally, i think he's still good enough to have a great champions league run with arsenal, but could've done this years ago too, so not sure why it's not happened sooner.
