Back to the bench for Shane tonight. He needed to hit the ground running with this loan move and have at least one goal scored by now. Things really not happening for our forward players this season.

Wilshere on the bench as well. Probably to do with their ages/fitness more than anything else.

Well done Shane. Good list  of players

I assume Seamus is close to breaking into the top 15.
Anybody else near it?  Most in that list are over 10 years retired.

Coleman is 16th on 281, so should overtake Staunton in 15th on 288 around February
James McCarthy is 20th with 261 appearances, needs 16 games to equal Glenn Whelan in 19th on 277
It's a big drop to the next active player - Ciaran Clark on 184

Coleman's start today overtakes Staunton as the Irish player with the 15th most Premier League appearances today.
Only needs two more appearances to pass Jeff Kenna in 14th

2 goals in 2 games now for Long. From a combined total of about two yards out, but we'll take what we can get at the moment.

Long should start next game for Ireland. The best we have at the min. People might say Hogan or someone else but he still has pace and can hold it up well. Somewhere along the way he may score also. Id be quite happy to see him line up next game i have to say with Connolly and Robinson backing him up.

4 goals away from the 100 league goal landmark. Has 14 games left to accomplish that with Bournemouth (potentially 17 if they finish in playoffs). Definitely achievable.
