I hope his son makes a full recovery and he finds a new club.

Birmingham have recalled goalkeeper Colin Doyle from his loan spell at Coventry following the back injury suffered by Ben Foster with England. Foster left the England squad on Tuesday after sustaining the problem ahead of Wednesday night's friendly with Hungary at Wembley. Birmingham have not yet ruled Foster out of the Premier League opener against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday and expect to know the extent of the injury within the next 24 hours. But manager Alex McLeish is short of cover, with Northern Ireland veteran Maik Taylor the only other senior goalkeeper in the squad. Doyle only joined Coventry yesterday on a one-month deal, making his debut in their Carling Cup defeat against Morecambe on Tuesday night. |

Was decent yesterday, couple of good saves and dealt well with a couple of through balls.
Don't see him challenging for a squad place though.

A solid back-up but no more than that. He's 32, as well, so no youngster. Having said that, the same could have been said of Forde at one stage.

Hearts is starting to look like a disappointing move for him; doesn't even get a chance in the cup today.
