There's a great photo somewhere of our winner against Spain in 1989 WC qualifier (Michel own goal), his head down as the ball rolls over the line and Stapleton wheeling away in delight.

Aldraidge in the Portugal players face after the goal against them in Euro 96 qualifiers, doubtful whether he even got a touch, keeper made a bit of a howler. But Aldo celebrated it like it was his own anyway

I would say it was in 1990 before we left for the World Cup. Brady was taken off before half time.
