I think the documentary did try to make that point. Unfortunately, I feel her ego prevented her from actually making amends and going forward with her work. The early part of the documentary did show a human side to her.

Just finished watching Evil Genius on Netflix last night. The case is mental, it's like something from a saw film.

The thing is she didn’t need to culturally appropriate to do good work, and without the appropriation she would still be raising awareness and potentially making lives better. Instead she seems to be reduced to self publicity and doubling down on her absurdity.

I actually did the same and went back to it. I felt the last hour was an interesting watch.

The Rachel Divide on Netflix was an interesting watch. It’s about Rachel Dolezal in the two years after her fall from grace for her cultural appropriation. The documentary is fairly sympathetic early on, but becomes less so as she tries to remain relevant with TV show appearances, a poorly performing book, and a constant presence on social media, this in spite of the generally hostile views of the public. The effect of her anxiousness to remain relevant is discussed with family members and how it has impacted their lives.

The only reason I watched was the media interest, but it was worth a watch.

Probably the best ending to any show I've ever watched.

Short history with some old footage of Algeria Football. Focussing on the Algeria derby ديربي الجزائر  . MCA Mouloudia with USM Algers.  Includes the Algeria/FLN team that played International teams during the War of Liberation before pressure from FFF on FIFA pressured teams not to play them.  But that didn't stop the FLN going on International tours.  France does NOT like Football.

USM head coach Miloud Hamdi mentions Fans hand-in-hands leaving the Stadium after the game.
