Absolutely outstanding performance from O'Malley today in the Pat's goal, it would have been 4 or 5 without him. Good to have to the lead back at 12 points anyway. The official attendance today was 2,403

Conor O'Malley looks like a 14-year old with gloves too big for his hands but he has been outstanding for Pats this season, and last. Pity the bunch in front of him haven't been able to perform better.
Our new signing Owen Garvan got sent off, brilliant, that's him out for a few crucial games.

FFS not a good start anyway!

Garvan was dismissed following an incident with Steven Beattie in the tunnel according to RTE.

Shocking dive for the penalty, pats player sent off for a punch down the tunnel. To be honest you couldn't blame d pats player as beatties dive was disgraceful, and I'm a cork fan that was there today

I was down the other end and thought it was a blatant dive, wouldnt like to be winning games like that because Id be disgusted if it happened against us but at the same time referees really should be spotting these things. Saying that if it wasnt for the Pats keeper we could have won by 4 or 5, he had an unbelievable game.

I hated Reading, although I went to a game as an ex knew Doyler  and he sorted it out. I think having a lego ground in the middle of nowhere didn't help them. A ****ish Tory chairman too.
I just meant a trip within an hour or two of me to see how is doing. London, Norwich, Ipswich or even Nottingham, if the local lot are too far away.

Can Dundalk reel in Cork ?
Now that Dundalk have got their mojo back and Cork losing their main goal scorer ?

12 point lead with 2 games in hand, you could assume that its more or less done and dusted but should Cork have a bit of a wobble and Dundalk close the gap to single figures, have Cork got the mental toughness to get the job done.

It's not completely impossible but i'd say it's far more likely that we will win the league by more than 20 than less than 15.

Most Dundalk can get to is 79 points, City already on 58 with a much healthier goal difference.

So City need 7 wins from 13 games.

More likely challenge is if someone can overtake Maguire as top scorer. He's got a 6 goal lead on McCabe and 7 on McMillan. Be fairly bad form if the lads couldn't overtake him really.
