Good appointment by Cork but terrible timing for Longford. Cork would’ve been fine with Cotter there till the seasons end.

sickened he has gone to ye. i was hoping we would act fast. we get left with the sh*t that is Rennie when a few of us have been calling for his head midway through last season. has failed twice now at Waterford and will go back to his job within the FAI at the end of the season thank f**k.

What's worse we get Caulfield with Alan Bennett next season which seems to be a done deal.

Because loyalty is so prominent in football these days, ffs if I was offered a better job in the morning I'd jump ship too.

Crowds in 2012 averaged 900 actually!

Least them 900 put everything into saving their club unlike Cork, who seem to have a new club every decade.

So your club never folded and came back as a new club a few times?

Fair play to you for completely missing the point of what I meant. You implied that City fans did nothing to help the club, which is blatantly untrue.

Narrowly missed out on the playoffs last season and they should be safe for a playoff spot this season, barring a monumental collapse from them. I don't know much about his style of play, but from what I've heard, it will be easier on the eye than Caulfield's style of play. Tonight is supposedly Cotter's last match I'm charge of City, so an announcement on Fenn will more than likely be over the weekend. Whether Cotter will stay on as part of the coaching staff is another question.

They don't get to sit in the dugout, that's for players. He'll have to do with the damp wall.LOL
