They are top of the Irish League and could win the title for only the 2nd time ever.  Still a surprise move though.  No way are they paying anything like the money he'd get in Cork.

Many at Cork dislike him. He is very very slow.

Just wondering, how many rounds of Europe will ye be allowed to use Turners Cross for? Where would ye move games to if/when ye progress?

Assuming no allowances were made the Cross would be good for the first 3 rounds. After that we would either need special dispensation which would likely be forthcoming as it was with Tallaght or we would have to play in Thomond Park/RDS/Lansdowne.

So basically we would need to win three rounds in Europe to have this problem, something no LOI team has ever done and if it did happen then we would most likely be allowed to stay anyway.

Cat 4 kicks in for the group stages in EL.

Why would they need to use those stadiums when the newest stadium in the country in Páirc Uí Chaoimh is in Cork?

No. It won't happen. I would imagine Congress would have to approve.

Is the relationship between football and Gaelic sports in cork poor? Surely they wouldn’t be for turning away an earner like a CL match?

They only allowed to fanciful notion of a RWC in the Pairc as it guaranteed them a ridiculous amount of public money. Not a hope they'd allow a fixture equivalent of when Dawk played Legia there. As I said though I'd reckon the Cross wold be allowed if it did happen.

Also points out the ridiculous system we have for providing infrastructure in this country but that's a different topic.

The county GAA board voted against opening up Croke Park. What hope have City got of playing a potential CL match in Pairc Ui Chaoimh?

I think Turners Cross is only good for the first round of the CL, and three rounds of the EL. UEFA actually didnt want us to play Genk at the Cross a couple of years ago but we got a dispensation. Access, parking, corporate facilities and press facilities are all a problem. We'll never play in Pairc Ui Chaoimh so no point discussing it, but City have a good relationship with Munster rugby so Id imagine Thomand would be used. They offered us Musgrave Park when the roof blew off a few months ago.

First 7 fixtures were temporarily up on the league site.

Absolute joke, if it was used it would be for one off situations and would rarely ever happen anyway.
