Saw the first episode of the reboot on a flight but haven’t seen the rest. Does Frasier explain why, if he’s moved back to Boston, he doesn’t visit Cheers no more?

Agree on this. Watched the first episode and was convinced they'd made a mistake bringing it back. But as the series goes on it gets a lot better.

One of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Love watching it.
The new series is a slow burner. A mix of crap and good episodes. The episode with the mistaken double date for example in the new series is absolutely excellent.

Watched the first episode of the new series. Thought it was sh*te.
Rewatch mostly the first seven seasons on RTE player all the time. Was a fantastic show before Niles and Daphne got together.

Given that they've not filmed any of it you are probably looking at 2024 at the earliest. |

The revival has none of the characters from the old show except Frasier. Also supposedly bare bones in terms of budget/writing staff etc. Can't understand why they didn't bring back the lad who played his son. He's transitioned into a respectable enough adult acting career (Mad Men). Interested to see how it pans out but I'm not overly optimistic.

They have their own Wikipedia pages, would you believe. Moose was the father and Enzo, with the son dying before the father due to cancer. Peri Gilpin took Enzo's son, Moosie as a pet and is apparently still alive.

Just like RTÉ so regarding jobs. It's who you know, not what you know.

They used two different Eddies, I think some of the cast took some of their puppies.

Good point it just wouldn't be the same without the original Marty Crane.
