Is McCarthy off his head - no wonder  he got Sunderland related.

Fletcher is a 2 mil player at most.
Fletcher and Doyle is a non runner.

I'd love to see Doyle at Juventus. It would increase the profile of Irish players both home and abroad.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

he's got rid of iwelumo, so fletcher fills that void ! plenty of people in england raised eyebrows when mick signed doyle, and he was proved right.....trust in mick, top irish manager

€7 is far too much for him !

Don't understand McCarthys plan by signing him, can't really play both together, can he?

yeah, very similar player to doyle, like to hold up the ball and run the channels...can't see the two of them starting together, if so possibly the potential to be the most hard working strike partnership of all time

Scored I think 8 goals for the Clarets last season in a team that went down Cry this has been on the cards for some time I think he will do well and I wish him all the best . Funny how so many people think that he is poor who have never seen him play .
Lansdowne Road debut aged 52 and 201 days .

If he performs the same way he did last season then that price will be justified imo

£6.5 million thus matching Doyle's club record signing.

I reckon himself and Doyler could be a formidable partnership.
