His delivery from set pieces was good, made a few good tackles. Didn't think he was great in general play though. Hendrick was our best midfielder, the only one with a bit of confidence on the ball.

Apart from his set-piece deliveries, which were generally very good, he didn't offer much else.

He had a good game. It had been frustrating he hadn't brought his club form into the Ireland side. But he had a good couple of games, especially tonight.

Always fancy his fk ability from that side of bending around the wall - Blackburn away earlier in the season and Notts F at home last year springs to mind. Him and Whelan had a good understanding tonight, same they've shown since the turn of the year for Villa. Keep it up Conor
