More absolute horsesh*t. He was actually much sharper than usual on monday, moving the ball more quickly than he typically does. Was playing pretty well and I was surprised he was replaced.

Agreed, your man obviously has a grudge against him, or poor viewing of the game. Would have taken Hendrick off instead

I don't agree with THAT, in the workplace!

Based on his overall performance for us he’s been extremely fortunate to continue to be picked.

Better or worse than, say, Alan Mcloughlin?

Opinions are like arseholes - everyone has them and the forum is full of them. Hourihane has been sh*te for Ireland and I’ve zero grudge with the guy.

Hes never been the same player for Ireland than he is at Villa. I thought he was poor enough the other night. Didnt really do much on the ball.

The problem is you can’t have him and Hendrick in the same team as both like to shy away from the ball. His shooting and set-pieces, albeit poor the other night, would give him preference.
It’s the same old story though, we badly lack a decent link man in the centre of the pitch.

Not a fan of him. More worried about his hair than stopping the opposition.

Hourihanes hair? Sure he has a buzz cut?
Hendricks hair is another issue.

Fantastic free kick, he really has a special left foot. Goal and assist from the lad. He's been quiet up to the point of the set pieces however. He's got the ability to get involved more. Sadly Grealish is miles better than anyone on the pitch.
