Would the best case scenario not be winning all of our matches?

We would qualify top of the group either way. Nothing extra really gained by having an extra couple of points.

Maybe Fifa ranking points?

What is there to be positive about at the moment regards the Irish senior team?

Personally, I think a lot:

1.We are on top of our group, and in control of our destiny.
2.We have a manager who has continued on a tradition of getting plucky results in difficult circumstances.
3. The mentality of the camp is leaps and blinds better than t was last year.

And that ignores the plan for Kenny, and the availability of a number of old, capable youngsters who are on their way. In comparison to the previous year, there is a lot to be positive about.

Point 3 here is the biggest factor in Micks short stint so far, The players seem to be much happier and getting a bit of confidence back. While the facts on Irish football are a bit negative at the moment I still think for the last two games, The Swiss and Danes will not be licking their chops against a determined Ireland side. At the end of martin's era I think the opposite was true.

Doesn't matter the manager we must take each game by the neck. is a very Serious affair for Eire our national football team. We risk pride and honor every single match. We can't fall down like Scotland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece and Austria. Scotland is in the wilderness of football since Alex Ferguson quitted their national team.

He's entertaining enough, though. He had a lot on here convinced Liverpool had won the league two months before the season ended, just by force of will. He's the type of lad who could start a cult or something, if he wasn't busy sorting out a football forum.

I LOL'd at this - I don't know how to do the magic lines yet (in fact I can't do anything on this forum). I feel like I've gone back in time when I use YBIG. Took me an hour to change my profile pic LOL
