Yep Bray got they wanted , a super goal to boot as well i think it was their only shot on target . Anyway no need to be bitter fair play to Bray as for United another year in the graveyard

Galway surely favourites for the First Division next year? Can't see what other team will match them next year. Rumours are they're looking at Rory Gaffney which would boost their chances even more

Congrats to UCD, much the better team
Best Bray atmosphere in a very long time, ruined by a kid hitting a steward on the head with a flare at the end. Even worse thay some older fans tried to defend them and had to be calmed down. Load of fans left then, deprived the team of a send off.

Bray-Cabo starting to put together a decent squad. Ste McGuinness, Rob Manley, Hughie Douglas, Conor Clifford and Oscar Brennan already announced for next season. Starting to look like the bones of Cabos 2019 squad with a few strong additions. Would be surprised if Marty Waters isn’t there next year. Just need Yuta Sasaki to be announced next.

We're just Bray, not Bray-Cabo!
Darragh Lynch is still under contract, I'd imagine Barnett and a few others from last year will be back. Talk that Noone will be back too. Looking well but still need a few more. Centre back most importantly. Chairman said to us he'd prioritise the spine of the team, he's done that to be fair to him.

The club seem to be announcing players (mostly ex Cabo)with both crests anyway and the whole management team from Cabo have come across as well as the chairman. Wouldn’t be surprised if there are more Cabo than Bray players in the squad come February.
Seems all the old Bray Umbro gear is being flogged so must be a new crest/jersey on the way too.

It's Bray!! Only two players signed up who are ex Cabo without Bray as well. McGuinness is from Wicklow and started his career at Bray.
Have seen the mock ups for the new crest, they're not great, but they are a mix of the two to be fair. They're using two crests until that's sorted. The ht the team is Bray and will play as Bray.
Not so sure about the squad, would expect the likes of Barnett, Lovic, Jones and others to be signed up. Not much you'd be picking from last year's Cabo squad if you want to win the league. Edited by nvidic - 20 Dec 2021 at 8:03pm |

Have any of these been seen playing yet?
Absolute lottery bringing these players over but if they are coming to play Athlone from England you'd have to imagine they are dead-set on having a football career so should be arsed if signed. Galway played Shels in a friendly this afternoon, there will be at least half a dozen potential imports on trial there also.

Season starts tomorrow and Oscar Brennan leaves us for Crumlin.
This new ownership is some farce, I honestly could've give a f**k about this season. Hopefully things change, I've the season ticket anyway.

And once again, Monk's played it to Trojan, who's again switched to the left Bob.
- He must be ambidextrous, Bob. I don't know about that, Bob. But he certainly can use both feet. |

Trip to Athlone tonight. Looking forward to it. Least the wind will have died down by then. Or it would be like a cup champion football flying around.
