A guaranteed 200k makes a big difference to any LOI club. If we all knew there was a risk of this than surely Waterford did too.

Pats need the dosh.Stuck with a manager the fans don’t want and a sugar daddy who’s losing five zeros at least up to now.
Hard to feel sorry for lickhole power though, we’re ok f**k the rest!! w**ker.

I'm surprised there wasn't more made of the race for fifth last year. Bohs could very easily be in this position now.

If all is above board Waterford need not worry, Pats well within their rights to question it

Agreed. There will be very little sympathy from around the league because of his statement. Sympathy for players and fans yes, but none whatsoever for him.

As a Waterford season ticket holder, the antics of Lee Power regarding his Statement released in support of JD/FAI raises further questions to the relationship between the two and what was agreed personally and maybe it questions the content of our license. (I’m open to contradiction on this as a few more on here would know more about the process and content of the license). If the whole JD saga never happened there wouldn't be an iota to even worry about as both JD and Michael Cody would have brushed this under the carpet. Now with the whole saga unravelling, St Pats in my opinion have done what any other club would have done and questioned the process behind Waterford's qualification. We would have done it ourselves if we were in Pat's position. Members on the Facebook page have said there is nothing to worry about over the past 12 months. This is probably information that was either given to them by Club officials or simply their own personal opinion. It must be noted that if this was so black and white now why did everyone think we were in Europe from the off? Maybe it's similar to the mass delusion that has engulfed the whole nothing to see here attitude of Clubs statement over JD. I have no problem with us losing our European spot if it means that the rules are enforced and governed correctly. Both the FAI and the LOI require a major overhaul of governance so if this is the start of something new for Irish football then I won’t complain. |

Well said deise, this is the fallout from tools like power et al shouting their support for a fellow arrogant self important member of the richboy club. Decent fans and proper football people driven out ,I loved seeing the blues back and thriving but this idiot needs to keep his personal views just that.
