Egypt are relying on more than just skill in order to progress to the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations. They openly admit they'll need a lot of luck to beat Angola. A rabbit's foot could come in handy, or even a four leaf clover. No, the Egyptian players had a better idea. They slaughtered a cow on Friday at their training session, stabbing the animal to death in a sacrifice they hope will bring them luck in their match. Supposedly Egypt coach Hassan Shehata said before the incident, "These lads are hungry....[break for humorous effect]...to win successive championships." Defending their title won't be easy, but if they beat Angola in the quarter-finals, they'll get a taste for success again!
