Monday morning discussion lads - what would you think of him playing for us (if he was good enough of course and committed 100%)?

Currently on a two week trial with Derby County. Plays in midfield i think. Plenty of talk in the past of him linking up with the underage teams.

Two week trial with Derby wouldn't exactly set pulses racing but if he proved himself good enough you'd have to welcome him and with the Rooney name and features, he's got Irish genes big time.

Scouse related players such as John Aldridge have always proved good for us so if he has half the committment of his brother then giving him a chance would be a good idea.
