7.7/10

There's another excellent Danish drama that he's in called The Hunt that I highly recommend. If reading the synopsis of the film it would be easy to think it's about child abuse which could turn people off. It isn't about that though. It's about the impact on someone's life when they have been falsely accused of it. Excellent film.

Dolomite - Netflix

Was recommended on one of those best movies on Netflix lists

Set in the 70’s Eddie Murphy plays a night club comedian and singer who invent s a Dolomite character in the blackplotation genre -

Risks it all to make a movie

really funny and based on a true story

Great sound track and you see some of the actual movie in the end credits
'Irish' Songs for an Irish team - no SPL EPL generic sh*te
Richard Dunne - 6th Sept 11 - best marshalling of a defence in Moscow since General Zukov Russia V Germany 1941

I totally get you and I hope my comment didn't come across as petty or childesh I'd 100% be asking for a refund, you pay to watch a movie without distraction I know a fire drill real or not is done for safety but it still takes away from the enjoyment of the experience you pay for.

Nobody - Bob Odenkirk as a office admin\retired assassin type. Completely delusional\far fetched film with Odenkirk being the last person you would cast in this role.

Gotti -1996. Armand Assanti plays Gotti from when he is captain of his own crew up until he becomes head of the Gambino family after Paul Castellano gets assassinated by Gotti and Gravano. Michael Franzese said its the most realistic portrayal of Gotti in film so i said i would give it a go, great performance by Assanti and William Forsyth who plays Sammy the Bull Gravano. A Solid 8/10. You can watch it for free on Youtube.
Del Boy: You do know what a pyscopath is dont you Grandad

Grandad: Of course i know what a Pyscopath is, its a fella who dresses up in womens clothes.

Well, I'm not into those films. I just stuck it on out of boredom and found it too unrealistic.

So what's the point in reviewing it? No matter how good a film of that type is you won't like it. It's pointless. It's like me reviewing an opera or Saint Tom reviewing Star Wars

“Nobody” was really entertaining for what it was. A ridiculous far fetched fun action flick.

I watched the film in the blind, didn't really review it or anything and since Odenkirk is a likeable actor, I just watched it.

But here's the beauty of films, sometimes movies that your not really into can be really good.

I'm not a music fan and really dislike Queen for some reason but thought Bohemian Rhapsody was excellent. 9/10.

Watched 'The King of Comedy' for a second time on Sunday. A very meaningful film.

I really cant figure out if the standup routine he performed was funny, or whether it was modelled in such a way that it was good beginner material, middle of the road hack material, or actually bad. I would assume that it was written in such a way as to speak to a type of comedian, and give more depth to Rupert Pupkin's mindset as to whether he was entitled and delusional.

I reviewed that film Nobody as it was recommended on here, I didn't know anything about it.  It's embarrassing what sane adults pass off as a good film.

You're much too cultured and intelligent, Artie. You're not the demographic they're looking to reach.

Not every film has to have a message, or be profound or even tell that much of a story. Some films are just mindless fun and for me, Nobody is definitely in that category. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a 4 hour movie in the IFC about one man's trek across the Atacama Desert to save his pet llama as much as the next man, but just not all the time.

Netflix is sh*te. 90% of the stuff on there is garbage.  The amount of times I'd stick on a film and abandon it after 30 mins.
