What was the film with Poitier and Tony Curtis on the run and handcuffed together.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

The Defiant Ones.

Anything Poitier did was class. Remember Sneakers with Robert Redford. Smallish role but stole the show.

In the recent chat here about the 2020 movie, The Hunt, someone mentioned the 2012 Danish movie of the same name. The reviews are very good so I gave it a watch earlier. I thought it was excellent and well worth 2 hours of anyone's time.

Yeah, I watched it since the lockdown started and thought it was excellent. 9/10 film.

Vivarium - the reviews of this are fairly average but I really liked it. I'm not going to go into the storyline as it's just too weird. Beware though, it does contain the most annoying/creepy f**king demon seed of a kid in the history of cinema.

You're very lucky not to have seen any Harry Potter then!

I watched 'Birdman' last night, it was much better than I was expecting it to be. Very funny.

I think I've only seen one of the Harry Potter movies. It was grand. The kid in Vivarium though, Jesus Christ, I wanted to put my foot through the telly.

Birdman is very good. I saw it when it came out so it might be due a re-watch.

Jonathan Mardukas: I can’t fly: I suffer from aviaphobia.
Jack Walsh: What does that mean?
Jonathan Mardukas: It means I can’t fly. I also suffer from acrophobia and claustrophobia
Jack Walsh: I’ll tell you what: if you don’t cooperate, you’re gonna suffer from “fistophobia”
