Those are two alright. Albeit Karembeu he is from New Caledonia - now he is an odd one as they only became FIFA members in 2004 so technically they wouldn't have been eligible for any World Cup prior to that but because they are now a member he was included as foreign born. Vieira was born in Senegal

Italy had a player born in England in 2006. Can't remember his name. Camronesi was born in Argentina. Klose and Podolski were born in Poland

I'd say some of the Uruguayan team in 1930 were born in Europe.
I think Desailly and Thuram were both born somewhere in Africa.

Perotta is correct Orsi and Monti correct both born in Argentina Desailly born in in Ghana, Thuram was born in Guadeloupe so does not count Posipal correct born in Romania

I had Podolski, Klose, Karembeu and Perotta before I saw them. Had forgotten the French ones. How many more are there? Any South Americans in the Italy '82 squad? I can't think of any.

Always thought Zambrotta, or at least another member of the squad, was born in Argentina. I definitely wasn't thinking of Perrotta, who I know was born in England. He was actually born in the same hospital as Geoff Hurst was, which is another question.
