Strangers in the night exchanging insults
Arguing in the night, all over results
We'd both be banned from here before the night was through

Something in your style was so annoying
Something in your bile was so fooking cloying
Something in my heart told me I must destroy you

Strangers in the night
Two lonely people, we were strangers in the night
Up to the moment when we said our first hello, little did we know
Hate was just a post away, a like chronic painful tooth decay and

Ever since that night we've been together
Waiting for a bite, in hate forever
It turned out so sh*te for strangers in the night
Debate was just a post away, I'd tell you fook off, go away

Ever since that night we've been together
Trapped in forum fight, up late forever
It turned out so sh*te, for strangers in the night

You are dead right.  Europe does need to come up with community based activities which are not religious or commercially based.

I know you didn’t like it’s a sin but the sense of community during London in the 80s amongst the gay community is obvious.

I have said the same about this place to a lesser extent at one point but even that has gone now and it’s largely just strangers arguing online (myself included )
Just to be clear, my problems aren't with the community portrayed in 'It's a Sin' at all! In fact, my biggest gripe would be about how they are portrayed in it. I think rehashing the idea that it came from rampant promiscuity is unfair and am surprised that others haven't seen it as such!

One of the few great things about true adversity is that creates a sense of camaraderie and unity, but in reality all communities should have it. I think the pandemic is making people realise that there has to be such a thing as society and society is made up of communities.
Even though I have been an atheist for thirty odd years now, I have recently been contemplating going to a church on a Sunday to help find that local sense of belonging, outside of the football club! I met a group of atheist Christians in a pub in London once, and despite ribbing them with "that's just socialism", there was something sincere in what they saw community as that stuck with me, outside of political ideology.

There's something in what you are saying about this forum that applies to the Internet as a whole. It was a place to find others who share your niche interests, but now it is just a place to be unnecessarily vile without consequences.

Probably everyone falls into the category.

You cook something and put it straight onto your plate. It's scalding and not as enjoyable as it's so hot but you can't wait for it to cool down so just keep eating away despite scalding yourself.  When finished, you think to yourself "I would have enjoyed that more if it was less hot"

I saw that. It is my absolute nightmare and why I always advise people to always stick with quick picks.

Do have to say, they seem to be taking it very well! If it were me I'd be contemplating how I can actually continue with normal life

Same. They might make a few small quid from the story but i agree, not sure i could function properly LOL or use their own view on it as "not meant to be"

Also agree 100% on quickpicks.

Couple of blokes I grew up with use to claim they didn't jack themselves off, that they would just have a wet dream every so often.
Recently heard someone else claim the same on a podcast that reminded me of.
Very strange and weird that they keep up that charade all of their adult lives and even stanger that if they really didn't jack themselves and just let happen outside of their control as they slept!
