Idles - Model Village. It's the 3rd release from their upcoming album and it's another belter.

Yeah, it's excellent. Brilliantly sarcastic lyrics and a brilliant bassline. The Cribs new song is quality as well, real Moseley Shoals vibe off it.

For the Aussie, I don't hate Muse at all! They're more than a tad overrated, especially live, but had a couple of good albums. I would have more of a problem with Pearl Jam who I find so boring. I don't hate them either, just find them boring. Daughter is a great song, but there was better on the grunge scene. Alice in Chains and The Screaming Trees, for a start!

There's a song on the new Pearl Jam album, Gigaton, called Seven O'Clock, that I'd recommend. Cracking lyrics and in the final third it takes on this anthemic quality that I love. I'm not trying to turn you into a fan because I dont care, but I know myself that there have been plenty of bands down the years that I haven't liked, but have still thrown out the odd great tune. Give it a go. I'm going to guess you listen to it and say I'm a ****.
