Did you hear the name of the pub ?

O Dwyers bar & grill in Skerries aka the Golf links

No such bar in Skerries.

"A popular Dublin restaurant has been temporarily closed and an investigation launched into an outbreak of food poisoning due to salmonella in Dublin.

The kitchen of O'Dwyers Bar & Grill - also known as the Golf Links - on Strand Road in Skerries was served with a closure order on Friday.

The kitchen is operated by Flanreil Food Services Ltd, which is the company that has been served with the closure order.

The investigation is ongoing and the source and cause of the outbreak has not yet been identified"

Can also confirm there is no Strand road in Skerries either.

Only seen this now . Goodman Borussia ,No talking bad about Na Sceirií

Mother Kelly's in Talbot Street which closed last year has had a makeover and rebranded as the James Joyce Bar. Looks like it'll be back open very soon.

Masked raider picked the wrong pub to rob last night. Are any of you boys regulars in Speaker Connolly's in Firhouse?
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Eejits were probably tanked up on booze thinking they were superman.
Someone comes in with what looks like a shotgun then you should give him what he wants. Putting people at risk trying to take him on, especially if it's not your own money/belongings being taken where then I think you have an excuse to defend your yourself, but even then you are best just to handover what he wants.

Obviously not all the facts are known, maybe he was robbing the customers too or maybe one of them spotted it was not a real gun, but if it's just they caught him off guard and grabbed the gun while tanked up then I think it's more stupid than heroic.

The Concorde in Edenmore was robbed on the 30th of Dec too @ 4:30pm.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.
