A friend of mine is a Guinness reviewer on tiktok or Instagram one of those new hip cool social media things. And he uses all these quotes to describe Guinness. Once claimed a pint wasn't drinkable because and I quote "Too cold" |

Got a pint of Guinness in Kavanaghs the other night (opposite Peader Browns) 5 Euro. Not bad at all, kinda made up for the fight during the Karaoke.

Yeah the guinness thing is over stated. Theres also experienced bar men who will tell you dont have to wait for the final pour.
A decent pint can be got in most pubs. but that can vary on the time of day and the freshness of the run to the keg.

Too many people watching the Guinness guru on Instagram on here 'Oh there's not enough of a shtick on this pint' Just drink the thing and stop pretending you know what you're talking about

100% agree. Harder to get a bad pint of Guinness in Ireland these days than a good one

You get a decent pint in nearly every pub if you ask me. You will get crap pints in places like the Aviva or concerts etc...if a local pub is sending out unacceptable guinness punters will just go elsewhere.

Strange, because my experience is the exact opposite. The best Guinness I’ve ever had has almost all been in Dublin pubs. Outside of Dublin I’ll always try and drink Murphy’s if possible, or maybe a pale ale. Overall, though, Guinness is incredibly hit n’ miss.
