Are there any serious contenders out there at the moment who would be good enough or even would want this job?

I have heard from one of my mates that there is this little known Italian guy who might be able to a job for us if Stan leaves. Fabio Cipello or something like that..

I think L. Sanchez would be a good signing but why would he want to down a level from Norn Iron?

No chance.  Will probably be someone like Forty Coats or Derek Davis the way the FAI go about their business!

IT'S A NO BRAINER FOR ME. ROCKY DENNIS ALL THE WAY. JUST THINK HOW INSPIRED THE TEAM WOULD BE IF THEY PLAYED THE ROCKY THEME BEFORE THE GAMES....WITH ROCKY D'S PEPE TALKS THE TEAM WOULD BE FIRED UP FOR ANY MATCH.

We hav'nt a chance of qualifying. That's down to stan. He reckons he's got a four year plan. I hate to think where we'll be then.

Get rid now. Bring in someone who does have a scooby and give a chance to try the young lads over the course of this qualifying without any pressure.

Also tell harte, keane and harte again, to f*ck right off !!
.............and harte too !!

your selling yourself short there Shakira/aka Poochie? Theres plenty more players who should get the boot eg: harte, carr and oshea

The best team available when fit(not fat) are 3-5-2
Given,
Joey OBrien, Dunne, McShane
S.Reid, A.Reid, Duff, Ireland, Finnan
Doyle, (Toss up between Stokes and Long and bring Robbie on for 10 mins at the end)

That's the really sad thing Count ( Noel Edmonds ) . These are the dreggs we're left with. I mean shane long looks like the next robbie keane - pants !!
Not one player would have made it onto the team ten years ago, including duff.
Rubbish organisation, rubbish players but at least we can get rid of that capper of a manager. I mean why would you appoint anyone from louth in the first place.

Personally, I think Aldo could do the job. He did a great job at tranmere with limited resources, even got them to the league cup final in 2000(?). That's a hell of a lot more than Stan's ever done....

After him, it's a toss up between Dalglish/Lippi/Capello!?!
