I knw they still do a few products like spicy rings, catering crisps etc but they used to do normal Cheese and Onion and S&V ones

Discos are also legendary but hard to get

No Manhattan crisps in Waterford, how come they never went national?

I liked the standard Perri cheese and onion too.
Remember there was a period of time when the standard Perri cheese and onion were doing a promotion.  Inside the bag was a little tiny scratch card or something and you could win money (which no one ever did) buy you quite often would get a free bag of crisps.

Speaking of Aldi crisps, their Doritos rip offs are pretty good. Would probably prefer the red Doritos rip off in Aldi over the real ones.
The bacon rashers (bacon fries) are very tasty too

Picked up a packet (large share size) of Mackies of Scotland flamegrilled Aberdeen Angus crisps in Aldi earlier. Just opened them while supping a few cans of Guinness in the house. Very very decent yokesClap

Pretty nice IMO.

I got a chocolate bar called "3Bit" from the Polish section in SuperValu. Nicest bar of chocolate I've had in a long time.
What did you originally go looking for? Sauerkraut?

I dunno, I've tried the supposedly high-quality posh, kettle crisps and the like, but you'll rarely beat the auld Tayto cheese and onion, especially if you're having a few beers.

Fortunately, from my point of view, they'te available in the 'world food' aisle at many large UK supermarkets.
