I know it's a bit of how long is a piece of string type question, if any of you have been looking into prices for accommodation, some suggestions would be good..

Hotel 2 star:
Hotel 3 Star:
Hotel 4 star:

I have hotels booked all over the place ranging from 25-50 euro per night.

Lads would it work out if some people who already have multiple hotels booked at cheap prices in each city just sell them off to people on here instead of releasing they to the other countries?

I don't have anything booked either. Only the travel geeks have anything booked.

You'd just hope there are experienced tournament goers from Germany, England etc. who have done the same as rolo and ColemanY2K and booked hotels for every possible game. That'll open a few options for us leaving it until 2moro

Only thing is about all that Bo, is I remember much the same things for Poland, we were told hotels were 'block booked' by travel agents, other fans from other nations had booked up more hotel space & all these would eventually free up once certain teams were drawn elsewhere & all that stuff. But it never really happened, admittedly there was a lot less hotel space in Poland than France, but at no stage did entire hotels become available because, (say an English)  holiday agent cancelled their bookings in Poznan/Gdansk because England were drawn in Ukraine. 

There is bound to be some cancellations from other nations fans doing multiple bookings when their team is not drawn in wherever, but wouldn't be expecting a whole lot of extra hotel space come Monday for whatever French city.

Well admittedly I didn't have any concrete plans to travel to the Euro's this time four years ago until the following April and even then I went by campervan. So there's still an element of naivety in my thinking. 

It's clutching at straws at best. I am talking about a handful of cancellations for hundreds, possibly thousands of Irish fans to jump upon.


I'll take my chances though and have a laptop at the ready! LOL

Ya, I'm the same , nothing booked. I never really get bothered about accommodation, ya will get somewhere in the end, same as everyone else. Flights are a different story though.....LOL

Have hotels booked in Paris for all possible games price ranging from 30-50 euro per night. Tried looking for other host cities but didn't have the patience

If it's any consolation I didn't book my room in poznan till mid may. Decent room decent price, this is one facet of the euros I won't stress about
