Just seen it there now meself. Just to put it in context, that mini digger he hit weighs about 7 (metric) tonnes, and all 4 wheels of it were lifted clean off the ground, as well as the force of the impact spinning it around. An F1 car weighs approx 700kgs, so the impact was severe enough to move something weighing 10 times more than itself. As mentioned above, the helmet & HANs systems can only do so much. Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Another exciting race today. Max getting no luck whatsoever.
Season is great with so many teams competitive and the ongoing epic dual between Hamilton and Max.

great race this evening - haven’t watched much in last few years but watched a couple this season. Seems to something happening all the time - maybe it’s the extra info available during the race these days. Assuming Hamilton and verstappen share 1,2 (and its not impossible) between now and end of season it looks like Hamilton will need to win 4 or the remaining 5. All very tight when the bonus sprint points and fastest lap point added to the mix.
Having 2 tyre stops adds a lot of variables too.

Cracking race again, so tense. Great dual all season. Max and red bull seem to have the upper hand but so much still can happen in the final 5 races.

Looking forward to the race today more than any Grand Prix in the last 20 years.
- Last race of the season - Verstappen and Hamilton level on points (Verstappen holds tiebreaker) - Verstappen pole, Hamilton 2nd on the grid - Vestappen won at the circuit last year, Hamilton won there 5 times before

Yeah should be great. Only started watching a couple years ago but this season has really been so tense and dramatic. Even the missus who doesn't care for sport, but knows what's going on now as I've had it on most weekend, is looking forward to finding out what happens.
