Reading through all the lads mentioned the one thing that strikes me is not many of them were ever up to the physical demand of it. Most of them are tiny lads with a clever touch.

He just came back from Stevenage and went straight to port vale to hook up with jim gannon. Willo Flood has had injuries but he is too slight in my opinion, lacks the build to be a top player |

Jason Gavin, saw him years ago in an U21 game in the RSC, he was partnered by one John O'Shea at centre half, and looked by far the more impressive of the 2 in that particular game.
