Thye tried it years ago with Prem Plus.  Load of sh*te it was and didn't think there was much takers.

So sky and BT could make some money by ripping off customers.

Can’t blame Sky and BT for this. EPL clubs all voted for this, apart from Leicester.

They they set the price? 15 is steep for one match.

These are the 3pm Saturday games that would never have been live anyway. So it's not line they're games that used to be free and are now £15. They've now available to watch if you want, ignore them if they don't want to watch them.

They had a match on last night on PPV. A match that season ticket holders had to pay £15 to watch.

Obviously the ideal scenario would have been to get to the game but we all know that's not possible.

If these fans want to see the game, they can pay £15 to watch it on TV rather than the £50+ per seat they would have paid going to the game. We'd the same situation in Ireland all year. Stadiums closed so you pay a fraction of the price to watch it at home.

I saw a tweet yesterday from Phil Kitromilodes who said that when they tried this in Spain, they had Espanyol v Osasuna as a PPV game. 37 people in the entire country paid for it. They then scrapped it. They have to do the same in England. The only way to get rid of PPV games is if people don’t pay for it.

It starts with this. Why not just include it on Sky/BT normal schedule? If this is successful, it will be Liverpool v Man United, Arsenal v Tottenham the next time around. If this takes off, it will go like boxing. Nobody wants this. The fans in England need to make a stand against this.

Fans in England have no bollocks. They have been treated as customers for thirty years and have either accepted it or found something else to do. Absolutely no backbone.

They've already paid the £50+ per seat, that's the problem.

These £15 games are ON TOP of the season tickets clubs sold.
Imagine spending £900 on an ST at the Emirates just to be told they need to pay more money to watch the games.

There is absolutely nothing good about this.

You’re missing the point.

Clubs in Ireland and lower leagues NEED this revenue to survive and are living on a shoestring budget.

The premier league clubs just spent over a trillion on players and over 200M on agent fees.
There is a global pandemic, people need to be at home and something to help them get through this.
They could have allowed these extra games go to sky/bt and throw a few at BBC/ITV.

Just all feels wrong.

If people want to try this out to watch these extra games for an upfront cost of about 100

This doesn’t really affect me. I’m only interested in watching the big games in England and I watch more Spanish football in any case. La Liga TV has every match live. It’s the principle of this that annoys me so much.

A number of supporters groups urging a boycott of these games - Would be great to see a message sent with a very low take up of these games.
