Apparently McShane is 'good' to have in the dressing room as well. Well like be senior players. Might also work in his favour over Coleman

Coleman isn't seen as a RB by trap or David Moyes. They both see him as a winger. Tbh anytime I have seen Coleman at RB he looks like an accident waiting to happen. As foley is cover for RB if he did pull out of the squad through injury then McShane would get the call IMO. Wouldn't be overall worried anyway as then we'd have Kelly O'Shea & Sledge who have all played/can play RB so McShane would be well down the pecking order. To be fair it would have taken a bit of a defensive injury crisis for Foley to get any game time in Poland.

Anyway it's all speculation currently and as it stands Foley is travelling!

First of all, Foley is more versatile than Coleman. Secondly, Coleman has yet to play right back for Ireland so if Foley misses out, I've no doubt it will be McShane who is brought in. Finally, get over Coleman, he looks as liable to make a mistake as McShane does.
Have you ever seen McShane play? Maybe this will jog your memory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGMuoxihmu4

Funnily enough I have and while he would not be an ideal replacement, he has more experience of playing right back for Ireland and probably more overall than Coleman. Slate McShane all you want, but he did a decent job against Italy in the 2-0 win. I think the real question is, have you seen Coleman play right back? Or indeed have you seen any of Coleman's recent performances? Don't get me wrong, I think Seamus could develop into a decent player, but based on current form, coupled with he fact that he hasn't played right back in a long time, I think McShane might be a better shout. It's a joke that it's between those two when we have the likes of Wilson, but I doubt they'd see game time anyway.
