The Death of Stalin - 5/10.

Not usually a fan of satirical films but this was an easy watch, some funny lines at times.

A good while since I watched it but I remember being annoyed by it at times despite enjoying it.
Agree it could’ve been a lot better

Saw the 3D IMAX version of this in Cineworld over the weekend - one of my favourite ever cinema experiences. Visually stunning and just an all round excellent film. Interesting to see that it's done poorly at the box office - just like the original.

Not for everyone. Long ass film. At least 6 people upped and left when I watched it at the weekend.

Blade Runner 2049

Watched this last night and its a painful 2hrs 44mins movie..... after about an hour I wanted it to end.
They could have made this so much better.

Frank Sinatra hosted the Oscar’s in 1963.
On his way into the building to do rehearsals before the awards show he was stopped and initially denied entry by security, because they didn’t like the look of him.

The Pirates of Somalia - 5/10

Based on a best selling novel about an aspiring journalist who travels to Somalia in the mid 00's to cover a story about the rise of piracy in the Somali seas. Wasn't a fan of the animated parts of the film, and the ending seemed quite rushed. Had the potential to be a good film but doesn't live up to it.

I'm glad 'Call Me By Your Name ' got some recognition as it is a superb film, but they really are just a pile of wank.
