Best ways to apply for tickets? Seems like you need passport numbers so can only do one round of apps?

LOL I’m sure there’ll be a huge traveling Irish contingent
I wouldn’t imagine so but I’m not on any other national teams forums

Will there be a huge amount of any contingent?

Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and any of the larger Latin American countries that qualify will have massive support.   Iran and the North Africans will travel in big numbers.  Loads of Saudis will drive up for their games.

The Indian sub continent, China and USA will travel as neutrals.   Although the U.S. will account for quite a chunk of many country's tavelling fans.

I get the impression western Europe is giving it a miss in general.

Wouldn't count on the Chinese being allowed to attend.

Just seeing there's qualifiers in Asia and North/South America next week haven't seen much outrage in regards to it, compared to the outrage of the AFCON.

Yes looking at Canada beating the US, they really have a very good team, probably now performing as the best team in North America and should qualify from here for the WC in Qatar and likely then there on merit for the one on their home turf.
Producing players like Jonathan Davd and Alphonso Davis shows that their underage system must be really on the up too. Likely to stick around as q decent outfit for foreseeable future

It really is a follow on from the 1994 World Cup, both the US and Canada seen a surge of interest in "SOCCER" due to it.

I know the US failed to qualify for the last WC but if you look at their squad they've a great young team, same as you say with Canada.

Canada can qualify for at least the playoffs with a win tomorrow which would be against the Oceania Team (most likely New Zealand)

...to a tournament they're supposed to be banned from, by the way, for the Olympic doping scandal.

Yet, they'll probably still be able to play in it as per the Olympics as an unofficial name and without their flag or anthem being used. The classic sort of pathetic cop-out I would fully expect to see from FIFA. Thumbs Down

Head of the Polish FA has come out and said it's unacceptable and they still refuse to play Russia
