Don’t think either will, they’re surely 4th and 5th choice now for the wide positions

I think the major issue for England is being able to do what they did in the first half against Wales and even for the first forty today, and hope that the likes of M’Bappe don’t pick something off slightly magical in the meantime. There is an undoubted step up in terms of opposition quality, but I don’t think is beyond them at all.

Agree, a better team will punish them

They haven’t played a great side yet but you can qualify and get to the last 8 or 4 of a tournament these days without having to

Not many great teams around

We made Senegal look poor. And there's no way dembele is anywhere near as good as our wide options. Dembele has done nothing this tournament.  Keep mbappe quiet we keep France quiet.  Bellingham is a level above anything France have in midfield this tournament.  Walker has pocketed mbappe twice in the champions league

Walker shaky enough tonight and Mbappe in the form of his life at the minute
I’d fancy Mbappe here despite Walker doing well against him in the past

Bizarre stuff. Imagine Ireland had won a World Cup last 16 match and the first thing you do is go on to a Latvian football forum to gloat. That is the equivalent of this. Complete oddball behaviour.

One of the regular posters is someone who doesn't support the ROI and spends his time stanning for the Premier League and chipping in with the odd personal dig at James McClean or Shane Duffy. Possibly also a big Rylan Clark fan.

Commentators always saying the stadiums are half empty. The official attendance is meaningless.

Been a perfect tournament for the English so far. Maguire was a bit ropey today and Senegal didn't punish those mistakes. The best player in the world will.

Should be a great game with plenty of goals
It would damage this forums' reputation

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a 0-0 or 1-1, and going to penalities. Whether Dixon was joking or not last night but I'd he's not far off when he said it will be a back six when the other lad on commentary asked him could we see England switch to a back three against France.

If England go on to win it (candles lit they don't), a ROI International will have a WC winners medal. Funny old game, Saint.

They aren't going to beat France, Portugal or Spain and Brazil or Argentina

England have a chance for sure but they are prob 4th or
5th favourites with good reason. They are very formidable going forward.

If they can overcome France then that’s the biggest hurdle cleared
.
