Don't see a thread for this anywhere but I just noticed we're not the only ones with suspension issues - their most capped current squad member (Fróði Benjaminsen) is suspended. He is 35 but still, I think it is a blow for them.

Also, it looks likely that Hoolahan could take McCarthy's place, based on the Georgia information.

So what do you reckon for Friday? Think there are a few places up for grabs.

Keeper: forde will rightfully start
RB: Coleman is the man
CB: O'Shea for sure
CB: totally up for grabs between Sledge, Keogh, Dunne and Delaney
LB: you would think Wilson especially given the openers since he is more attacking than Delaney but Delaney done quite well today too
RM: up for grabs too. Possibly McGeady given I think McClean should start on te left
CM: Whelan will start even though I don't believe he should.
CM: he will be partnered by Wes but Hendrick did ok too
LM: think McClean had his best game for us. Maybe not in terms of his directness but his crosses are vital
CF: keane for sure
CF: Up for grabs between Cox, Walters as Sammon

Nope, he is an option off the bench. Was decent in the second half today when he had space, didn't create enough space for himself in the first. Against a blanket defence I would rather we started with 2 up top and Mccarthy and Hendrick in the middle. Hendrick has impressed me a lot this season, both for Derby and his few glimpses in the green. His only problem is a habit of looking for too much time occasionally and not playing a simple pass to keep it flowing.

Dunne won't play and Wes will play instead of McCarthy.

Whelan shouldn't get within an ass's roar of being in the team & neither should Green. Hooihan needs to start.
