First and third Die Hard movies are some of the best action movies along with Con Air and Face/Off.

A few years ago I started to work my way through most of those "must see" / "top films of all time" lists so there aren't too many I haven't gotten to. Most of them would be pre 1970 I haven't. The Godfather Trilogy is probably the most notable ones I haven't watched yet. Done my best to watch Lord of the Rings several times over the years but never made it beyond the hour. Just not my thing at all. Utter snooze fest. Only recently watched the Star Wars films for the first time, all 3 trilogies. Probably the most over rated of them all, I get the initial hype of the first 3 in the era they were released but it was massively downhill from there on. |

I love the sci fi stuff but I get why a lot of people aren't. If a person though in their 30's or 40's hasn't seen the likes of Taxi Driver or The Godfather but still claims to have an interest in films, that doesn't really stack up. |
