Again, they'll do whatever they do for every other evening kickoff on the calendar, like last Tuesday night in London Missing the point here - Adding more midweek fixtures adds more inconvenience.  There's only a certain amount of Saturdays in the season, some game had to go to midweek. It's not any better if it's a FA Cup or League game that goes midweek. What was the alternative to having a cup replay midweek?

How the fcuk can you have cup replays scheduled during a winter break. A joke.

The scheduling of the FA Cup in general is a joke with the 3rd round on the weekend after the hectic Christmas period where teams can have 4 games in 10 days or so and the 4th round is after a round of midweek league games. It's no surprise then that managers choose to rest players. I presume the only reason 3rd and 4th round replays stand is for the lower league teams so they can have a 2nd chance to earn a big payday against a big team. It's sad to see the decline of the FA Cup but the football authorities only have themselves to blame for this situation.
