Ever selected for Jury Service?

Mrs Claret has been called twice and had to turn it down both times , now i am the same first time up we were both going to Paris no hassle at all from the courts . Now the time i did sit first day my name didn't come out the 2nd i got the call . Only lasted about two hours then thrown out of court as there were no witness seeing this dude beating up another but did get lunch out of it . Love to do it again but would hate to sit on something to do with children or rape .

I would have loved to do it, all the same.

It would be interesting to see what it is like from that side.

Trust me , would you rather be in work or getting paid to sit in court ..........

A certain poster on here once told me a story about getting out of it.

what an attitude - where is the 'ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your counrty' spirit gone (where is the head shaking tut tuting emoticon when you need it)

The defence and prosecution only have a certain amount of objects (8 I think), they ran out of them one before me. One of them objected but they had to let me continue. 

Never been selected but think it would be good. They probably put your name threw the Garda checks though and I wouldn't say mine is completely clean!
