I'll be shocked if he plays much if at all. I think Kenny since his initial influence of youth is very cautious and seems to want to bed them in before.
Personally in friendlies I'd rather see what Evan can bring rather than more gametime to the likes of Callum Robinson who we know what he provides at this point.

If he actually sees minutes it's probably gonna be against Malta. Before Keane and Hogan pulled out I said he wouldn't even make match day squads but at the moment we've only got Obafemi, Ogbene, and Robinson when not including Ferguson.

Would still say his chances of making the match day squad tonight are slim. Likely be him, Sykes, and Scales that miss out if there's no further fitness concerns.

Think a form of 3-4-3 will be used against Malta but would love to see Kenny just throw Ferguson in from the start against Malta in a front two with Obafemi, and play someone like Robinson, Brady, O'Dowda behind them in a 3-4-1-2. Play Smallbone in that role Hendrick normally plays next to Cullen in midfield.

The problem is that Kenny always needs results as his win rate is so poor. So he rarely gives himself an opportunity to experiment. If we're comfortably ahead in Malta Ferguson will get on, but if it turns into yet another Luxembourg/Azerbaijan/Armenia fiasco then he won't be capped.

I hope not 343 we look poor with it and we don't have a striker that is natural to that lone CF role. Probably Ferguson is the most suited to it but not ready yet even for me who wants him to get gametime.
