100% and that is what we should try later for sure.
No need for Cullen later either.  Give the lad a rest and see who can slot in there, but more creativity in the middle is needed versus these weaker sides.

Could have Haaland up top but if all our mids are doing is sideways and backwards stat-padding passes (looking at you, Jeffrey), then won't do us much good.

Jeff Hendrick attempts the most forward passes of our midfielders. Cullen a close 2nd. - https://www.squawka.com/en/comparison-matrix/?compare=qriC8JNYUBjXdsX4-erCd

State of Molumby.. he's the real offender for sideways and backwards passes.

Sssssshhhh! Did you not get the memo, our woes over the last 10 years are all down to Jazzy Jeff!

Easy scapegoat.

I would have been more critical of Hendrick than most due to the fact he is the best CM we have produced (Rice aside) since McCarthy broke through and hasn’t played or acted like it.

Don’t think he has fulfilled his potential or kicked on at all since 2016.

Interesting phenomenon with young lads going over to England recently. Are they told to play down their accents by their agents or is it just an environmental thing?

What are you on about? That interview after Grimsby I watched it with 3/4 lads and we were joking about how he’s like some young fella you would see running for Nidge in Love/Hate. Big thick Dublin accent.

Was 100% a Dub accent.
