If Moran is called up for the NZ would like to see Ferguson and Moran as the 9 and 10 so hopefully he's fit. It's the 9 and 10 combo I hope whoever the next manager is builds the Ireland attack around.

It's definitely the future. We've gone from a dearth of viable #10 options to having Moran, Azaz, Smallbone and maybe Szmodics as pretty serious contenders. It'll be interesting to see which of that bunch will be able to provide the goods at intl level.

Called it.
Nothing to do with that according to Brighton

Going by his assists for Szmodics goals and especially the one Monday night I hope it's Moran. Don't think Smallbone or Szmodics can pull off the pass for that assist the other night.

Smallbone's best game in an Ireland shirt was when he played deeper in a midfield two with Coventry. Would like to see him play deeper next to Cullen and have Moran playing behind Ferguson.

Getting a bit concerned about this lad.  He seems to be getting injured a lot.  I hope he isn't Aaron Connolly 2.0

Separate Knee, back and hamstring injuries in the space of a fortnight is worrisome alright. Never long term injuries but they're hindering his momentum.

Could end up playing with connolly next season at Galway City after his loan spell with luton town reserves ends

Brighton are such a different animal to Ireland at the moment.  The qualify of passes and the pulling of the other teams back four left and right means he gets opportunities to score which he doesn’t get for Ireland.  Although to be fair with this goal it’s less than a half chance.  Decent ball into feet on the edge of the penalty area and two touch finish and uses to centre half as a disguise.  I love the fact that he passes so many goals into the net.  Sign of absolute quality.

Moran behind Ferguson with Ogbene outside and Johnston the other side and keep it solid behind that has potential to hurt teams.
AKA pedantic kunt
