Well he did miss the recent internationals due to injury! Hopefully it’s De Zerbi looking after him and not another injury.

The problem is that if it's patellar tendonitis as has been suggested, also called jumpers knee, it can become chronic and the only way to manage it is through resting which is difficult if you are a professional footballer. Does patellar tendonitis go away? With the appropriate treatments, patellar tendonitis will likely go away, but your doctor or physical therapist may suggest strengthening and flexibility exercises to help keep patellar tendonitis from returning. |

I was reading earlier that he was still feeling ill up to the day before their last match. He wanted to play but was subbed at HT as he still wasn't right. De Zerbi then said he'd be fine for the weekend.

I'd say he might be hooked at half time.
He doesn't do his best work when playing up top with Wellbeck, needs someone a bit more dynamic like Pedro.

He could and probably will, but that would be unfair in my view, the team have been shocking and the defence is all over the place. Evan hasn't really got a sniff.
