Was hoping that too Tom, but not a chance. They were outplayed, simple as.

Mind you, not entirely unhappy with this as an Ajax fan haha. Though would've gladly seen them and Twente wiin instead of the Portuguese and Spanish

At 2-2 this is all over with Benfica going through on aggregate.

Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Braga is still in the balance with Braga leading only on away goals.

Semi-final line-up:

Benfica v Braga
Porto v Villareal

3 Portuguese teams in last 4.
Still fancy Villareal though.

If there are two northern Portuguese (Porto v Braga) teams in the final, how will this affect the gate at Lansdowne? Do the Portuguese travel in much numbers?

I just had a quick look at Ryanairs website and as usual they're not slow to react as a return flight out of Porto is now about €300, whereas travelling a week earlier can be had for about €100.

Would be interested to know that myself!

Anyone expect any of the teams left to travel in numbers? (know nothing about portugeese supporters – but Spanish supporters aren’t generally the best of travellers, are they?)
