That chink of light after Iwobi's goal didn't last long, did it? LOL

And it could have been a real drubbing if Chelsea had kept going after their 4th instead of easing off.

A lot of work needed in the summer for Arsenal, not least to try and sort out a defence that would embarrass a pub team.
The nation holds it's breath...YES, WE'RE THERE!!!

Do Arsenal fans think Emery did enough to get a second season?

Ozil is a fraud of a player IMO

Ozil has been shocking for a good while.

I was surprised at how bad Auba was tonight though. He looked nothing like a golden boot winner.

Have you not got any ethnic minorities to give out about?

Seriously though, the buddy is over at it. He was telling me that they were singing  Bobby Sands and the Sash etc.

I suppose it's the team people support not the fans.

It is now the second stadium in Baku after the Olympic stadium - though they still play at least some football internationals there (eg v NI two years ago). Like the Olympic Stadium however, it also has an athletics track, but is otherwise much smaller, with less than half the capacity.

Btw, it is 2500 miles from London to the Olympic Stadium, or 2502 to the side of the pitch....

He did a semi-final in 1970, but not the final.

He also refereed the first leg of the 1974 UEFA Cup final in 1974, between Wolves and Spurs.

Apparently the contrast between Wolverhampton and 1970's Soviet era Baku came as a "bit of a shock" to him, "but thankfully I only had to spend one night in Wolverhampton", he added.

Aye, but did you see the grin on his face after the final whistle, when he unwrapped a big, fat Cuban cigar?

No, he was equally funny the day before when, in the light of the Alastair Campbell expulsion, he tweeted:

"Dear Labour, that was quick. Yours, a Jew"

Feel bad for Arsenal fan tv's Claude. Talk about taking it way too seriously

Looked at the Arsenal squad as a whole for last night and it was as poor a squad as they've had in years. The bench was awful. He has some rebuilding job on his hands

Some poker face from Rob Green going full kit given he wasn't in the squad, wasn't even registered to play in Europe and wasn't entitled to a medal.
