Basically hung him out to dry in a press conference after Barcelona were knocked out in the Cup to a lower league team. Enke while probably at fault wasn't 100% to blame, De Boer himself was out of position and didn't track his man and de Boer refused to apologise for it.

Now of course De Boer wasn't to know Enke was suffering from depression and anxiety but being so critical of a team mate in public and then not at least coming to them afterwards was low.

I think Southgate  only put him in there from Fan and media pressure . I did think he was very poor last night also gave the ball away a number of times
From what I know fans of the 2 clubs in Liverpool would prefer if none of their players were in the england squad or any of the competing squads.
Tranmere and Everton ?
Tranmere are not in Liverpool.
Who cares LOL
You obviously cared enough to bring it up, albeit incorrectly. Its usually a good idea to be factually correct when trying to make a point. Although I will concede that this is lost on a lot of people these days.

Trent Alexander Arnold out of England squad... Wouldn't surprise me if Southgate called up Ramsdale

bit rich from you calling anyone a bore but however,  exactly how many replies have i made to you? Is it to everything you’ve posted as you are trying to imply or is it a handful of replies over a matter of months? I think you’ll find its the latter and thats very few and is hardly picking holes in everything you say.

Can’t say I’m excited much about these Euros starting this week
It’s been pretty low key, you’d hardly know they were about to start

Too many teams, restricted number of fans, stupid venues all over Europe and Ireland not there

I suppose I’ll warm to it as it gets going

I looked through the list of matches in the group and the only wans I circled to watch

France - Germany - Portugal
England v Croatia & Scotland
Spain v Poland
Belgium v Denmark

I’ll probably end up watching more if I’m at home but only 8 teams go home after the 36 group games. It’s great if you are in it but for the neutrals this competition doesn’t get started until the knockouts.

Very few obvious one sided games IMO

Some cracking ties there.

And France , Germany and Portugal will all go through and there is no real incentive to come 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Once it starts, it will be great and everyone will enjoy it. It’s a month of tournament football. What’s not to love?

How is there no incentive?

You finish top of the group you play a team who finished 3rd (QF you'd play runner up of D or E)
you finish second you play the winner of England's group playing that game in Wembley
you finish 3rd you play the winner of a group.

Not sure about you but I think I'd rather top the group to play a 3rd place team and then a team who finished runner up in the last 16 and QF
