Jesus that's absolutely awful. So sad to see. Hopefully something can be done.

I agree they showed too much. They should have cut completely away when it is a medical emergency like that. Showing the wife/family member too

Heartbreaking. Agree not sure what TV coverage was thinking just go straight back to the studio. Instead of showing his wife distraught on side of the pitch

Fairly shook.  I wasn't paying attention to the screen when he fell but looked up once they said he went down.  One of the worst incidents I have seen.  Please God he will somehow pull through.

Schmeichel deserves a lot of credit again.  Calling them over aggressively for treatment .  He's a proper leader.  He was one of the first on the scene at the Leicester helicopter crash too.

IMO the medics were far too slow and casual gettign on the pitch.

Maybe a little but its difficult to be too critical on them. Maybe in future there shud be medical teams on both sides or even all sides of the pitch ready to come in if needed.

Well it appears they have saved his life so not being too critical but they were too slow initially getting on.

The one positive is that it, if it was going to happen due to an underlying condition, it almost couldn't have happened in a better place, a football stadium with medical professionals on hand and only a few hundred metres from a hospital. That might have made the difference.

Waltzing over not a care in the world. They were far too casual. Then a few mins later you can see them using the defibrillator on him.

Thankfully he's alive.

the lad with the jump leads was part of the stretcher 4, this delayed him getting there, surely it’d make sense to have him separate to get there faster? Lesson learned I hope, for pro games at all levels.

Is there actually a chance this game will continue?
Game is just "suspended" so far with no further info.

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn
