Late Sunday KO at 20.00 in Seville

Great to see two heavyweights against each other in the knockouts.
Hard to predict a winner.

Belgium on Peno’s

Has the hallmarkings of a classic. All the way to penos I think

Belgium need a big win at a finals with their golden generation as so far they have bottled it.

Beginning to  think Belgium are going to be akin to Spain of the 80's,90's and early 00's

Fancy Portugal, Belgium are extremely weak at centre back.

Probably their biggest so far

Was going to mention this - they beat the favs and ran France close. Coming 3rd was an achievement.
I think that was their peak tho, their defence is worse now.

That defeat to Wales was brutal tho. They really should have done better in 2016.

If they got semifinals in 16 and 18 that would have been a good return for that team.

Decent win but Brazil have been 2nd level for ten years now.

Decent win but Brazil have been 2nd level for ten years now.

That Brazil team were the favs for the World Cup, easily topped South American qualifiers and I think unbeaten in about 20 games going into the finals.

Maybe not the best ever Brazil team but the beat team in South America. They won the Copa America the following year.

Edit: looked at their qualifying, lost the very first game v Chile and didn’t lose another game. Finished 10 points ahead of 2nd place and had a GD of +30 after 18 games.
