Have watched all Leeds games so far this season, he has been outstanding. Fans motm in pretty much all of the games. One criticism of him last season was that he didn't get stuck in enough but seems to be addressing that so far this season. Has a good eye for a pass, very calm on the ball. Think he could do very well for us in the middle. Was great when he came on against Iceland, always looking to thread a pass though or attack space with the ball, something our players don't seem to like doing.

Yep, we'd definitely have an advantage over other midfields if we lined out like that

The few times he has played for us i thought he done well. He wants to get on the ball and can create chances.

Not sure what some have against him or why he isnt in the squad at least.

He's been nursing a groin injury since February. Missed a good chunk of the second half of last season. Thought he'd have surgery on it during the summer but seemed to be managing it. Pulled out of the squad last week with it.
Thumbs Up
We still have some decent midfield options as some have suggested but depends what way O Neill wants to set up.

Against Moldova if all options are available i'd like to see Arter, OKane, Wes and Meyler at some stage in the game in a more forward role.

Meyler

Arter OKane

Wes

Pretty attacking diamond and Arter OKane and Wes would link up well.

Can see lots of chances being created from that and possession kept.

Is there any indication how close Hendrick is to first team action? He didn't make the bench today for Burnley.

Big fan of this lad, more polished than people give him credit for and should be involved more often. Looks like he will have to do well to force himself into the reckoning, but still think he's more well rounded and composed than Hourihane.

Our next two matches are effectively dead rubbers, and should be looked upon by the management as an opportunity to give players like O'Kane, Hourihane, Maguire, Rice etc the chance to show what they can do.

Dead Rubbers!!

Beat Moldova (which we expect to do) and we have a cup final in Cardiff against Wales. WALES not Germany/Italy/Brazil.....Wales!

Not saying Wales aren't better than us at the moment but they are more or less our level and on any given day we are more than capable of beating them.
It's not me it's you:-)

Agreed. I hate that defeatist attitude that some people have.

Very poor game in a poor team performance. Totally to blame for third goal as well.

His legs are gone. Shouldn't be near the squad

Reads the game well and makes some key interceptions for Leeds. Very good player, still a little lightweight at times though

Wes is the same build and a key player for us.
