I know he represented us at 21 level after playing underage for the pub team before that but I follow the lad on twitter and on his profile it says Bournemouth & NI. Probably nothing.

Have a look at who he is following on Twitter and you'll get a better idea of what fence he's on.

I have been hearing about okane since he was 13 but never managed to catch one of his games (edit I did see him in the milk cup for the pub side). He comes from the same academy as Gibson and the coaches there rate him very highly. He keeps the ball and is a great passer he is also a top lad.

Comes from a big gaa family just outside Derry so I wasn't surprised that he declared for us. I hope he causes an upset on Saturday

From SSN

Bournemouth take on Liverpool in the FA Cup this weekend and Sky Sports understands a host of Premier League and Championship clubs are set to watch highly-rated midfielder Eunan O'Kane in action as they weigh moves for the player before the transfer window closes.

Still one for the future I think, he has done it the hard way and I think he is a bit of a late developer physically. Realistically it will be the 2018 World Cup campaign that he should be targetting.

Plenty of time, guys like Andrews, green, Kinsella, holland and Lawrence didn't come to the for for us until they were the other side of 25 before they came to the fore for us iirc (can't be arsed to check). Technically this guy is brilliant but as we all know that is not enough (see Stevie mcphail and Liam miller)

Hopefully turns it on tomorrow !!

Presumed for his height he was a playmaker but seems to be a holding midfielder, shame a young playmaker is something we need

What games have you seen him play in?

Give us a run down on his qualities and where you think he can improve.

Cheers.

We can't be discarding/writing off any young player.
For every Damian Duff and Robbie Keane there are 10 Liam millers

Crowley won't be changing back it seems and there's nothing to suggest grealish is a certainty not to be another Liam miller, Colin Healy, Conor Clifford, graham barrett, Jim o'Brien etc etc

Eunan is a very tidy player, he may not have reached his full potential and still be improving, as I said earlier holland, kinsella, Andrews and Lawrence all were decent servants for us and were all late bloomer. To my knowledge he is not a holding midfielder he is more of a playmaker.
